Region Meeting
Spring 2008 – this is our chapter’s turn to host a Region Meeting. Panic sets in.
The committee has been working hard to make everything perfect. Region Meeting is tomorrow morning, and here I am blogging. I have several more things I need to get done, but I needed a break.
Darrellyn tells me the workshop went well. She had an EGA Member-At-Large contact regarding attending the workshop and joining our chapter. We have a new member! The ladies at the workshop also descended on Queen Anne Stitchers, our local needlework shop.
We had a pre-meeting dinner at Chili’s in Stevenson Ranch. As Leo needed to eat just as I was trying to get dressed to go to dinner, we arrived a bit later than everyone else. It certainly is nice to see everyone. Leo was being a gem as usual. He was looking around and smiling at all the ladies for awhile then decided to nap. I had the Ceasar salad witn Chile-and-Lime shirmp, yummy!
Back to getting things together for tomorrow! It will be 8 AM before I know it.
